We have bought several appliances in order to help our science classrooms, such as refrigerators and dishwashers to store important chemicals and to clean effectively.\r\n\r\nWe have utilized new curved computer monitors and laptops to enhance the student technology experience. We have chromebooks, but we needed higher powered technology in order to allow students access to coding and computer programs that chromebooks simply cannot run.\r\n\r\nA big use of our money went towards headphones. We use them in our world language courses and for standardized testing. Students previously had to use the chromebook speaker. We bought headphones that allow students a personalized experience in world language, where they can individually listen and respond to the prompts, since the headphones have microphone capability.\r\n\r\nOur PE classes use a sound tower to encourage students to work out enthusiastically. It helps students engage more as it makes the physical work outs more fun. Lastly, we installed smart signage that is used to message announcements and important information to students. We were able to debut them just in time for our open house. This signage shows that we are moving towards the 21st century in a 20th century building. Prospective parents were excited to learn about how our students fare academically, socially, and emotionally through the smart signage.","fullyFundedDate":1753991074882,"projectUrl":"project/csw-and-samsung-solve-for-tomorrow-proje/9390813/","projectTitle":"CSW and Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Project","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tanzer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10048391"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_63766","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":979,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":33,"percentAsian":34,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":42,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"19.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":81.3,"schoolId":63766,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Charter School of Wilmington on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Charter School of Wilmington","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/delaware/red-clay-consolidated-school-district/charter-school-of-wilmington/63766"}
