Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a group of very talented individuals that love school and strive every day to do their best in my classroom. They want to succeed but deal with challenges frequently in their lives. My students amaze me every day with their abilities to adapt to new concepts and overcome their disabilities in amazing ways. Engaging them can be a bit challenging as they are so used to feeling like failures due to their ability to retain to skills taught. Adding fun and unique ways into my lessons helps build excitement and keeps them from giving up on me. We are a Title I school with a diverse population within California.

My Project

My students love engaging activities. The math materials help with the concrete representational math support the need to visually understand number concepts and supports the Science of Math. The magnetic sound board and chip set help to support engagement in blending letter sounds and making words while supporting the Science of Reading.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Your donation will benefit students with special needs requiring more support with multi-modality learning.
