Science Laboratory Air Purifier (COVID-19)

Help me give my students protection from COVID-19. Our high school science classes meet in a large laboratory that needs a larger air purification system than a standard room. This unit will do the job right.

My Students

Our high school specifically serves a population of students with high functioning autism spectrum disorders and other learning disabilities. We work hard to find novel ways to approach education that fits the unique needs of our students.

When they connect with the learning process it becomes difficult for teachers to keep up with their levels of enthusiasm and outside-the-box creativity.

My high school science students greatly benefit from hands-on laboratory experiences, for which this DonorsChoose.org project has been created.

My Project

A large percentage of our students have returned for in-person instruction. The hands-on learning environment of the high school wet lab needs additional help to purify the air to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Blueair Classic 680i Air Purifier is the right tool for the big laboratory where a larger volume of air must circulate. We already use face masks, gloves, and sanitize surfaces between class periods. Some of our students and I have identified as high risk for COVID-19 complications. Your generous donations will help us protect our students and staff as we begin this new school year.
