My Students

Many of my kids come from low-income housing. My school is a Title I school with limited resources and supplies. Despite their challenges, my kids love learning, and they love being at school.

I have a classroom filled with little kids who are eager to learn but do not always have the resources to help them reach their full potential.

I want to encourage them to learn and grow throughout the school year.

My Project

As a teacher that has only taught for a few years, I don't have science supplies to enhance my students' learning. These science kits would provide my students the opportunity to explore the weather, solar energy and so much more.

These science kits so I can provide my students with creative, hands-on ways to encourage them to collaborate, invent, design, and build.

Learning “under your own STEAM” is a mindset that encourages exploration, experimentation, and learning in every curriculum area for every student. STEAM is a mindset of Self-motivation, Thinking, Energizing, Adventure, and Making. These five attributes are significant because they encompass internal and external elements of a learning perspective that foster growth.
