My Students

My multicultural classroom is full of young children whose minds want and need to be stimulated. My children are eager learners who have a strong drive to learn everything about the world around them. I love providing them with opportunities to grow their learning and encourage them to be life long learners. The children enjoy the learning opportunities including STEM, Language Arts, and Creative Arts. They enjoy learning new Social Emotional skills, and love to practice the taught skills with each other and their families.

The majority of the children in the school, including my classroom, come from low income families, where they are dual language learners, many who are the first in their families to learn the English language.

The children in my classroom have a strong will to become successful students, and I want to be able to provide them with the supplies they need in order to set them up for success.

My Project

The STEM items I am requesting will provide my students with incredible tools the will assist them in building their STEM knowledge.

With these items added to our Science area, the children will be able to expand their knowledge about life cycles, examine specimens, and develop valuable science related skills.

The items I am requesting will make a tremendous difference in developing the Science area of our classroom. By making these learning tools accessible to my students, they will have rich learning experiences to make them life long scientists who have a healthy respect for the world around them. By having access to these requested materials, my students will learn about the life cycle of different animals, color mixing, patterning, and have many sensory items to explore. Thank you for helping my students learn about the world around them and helping them to become Science Super Heroes and learning about the world around them!
