Science Instant Learning Centers
My students need a set of Science centers for our classroom.
When we are learning about a topic in our classroom we learn about it all day: during reading, writing, content, and math. We need these science centers so that my students can be hands-on with what we are learning about!
I have 16 wonderful Kindergarten students this year that LOVE learning!
They are exciting and energetic and really enjoy doing hands on activities in the classroom. Our school is not very big and we are in a rural county in Virginia. The closest city is Richmond, which is about half an hour away.
We don't have very many science materials in our classroom. Usually, when we need something, the entire Kindergarten grade level has to share and pass the materials around. These hands-on science centers would give my students a chance to really see what they are learning.
Some of my students never get the chance to go to a science museum or travel far from their homes.
I want to give them as many possibilities to learn about the outside world as I can. These science centers will give them a hands-on approach to learning and will really make them more excited about what we are learning about!
