My Students

This is my fourth year teaching transitional kindergarten at my school. My students have come eager to learn and partake in their new school adventure. My students come from a diverse background ranging from lower to middle economics. All my students are excited to learn!

My students need the tools to be ready for kindergarten and the world.

They need to have the materials to help them learn in a 21st century environment. They will be our future and we need to prepare them for theirs.

My Project

The Fairy Tales Problem Solving STEM Kits will be used during our Fairy Tales thematic unit. The students will be able to integrate language arts and hands on science. They will be using problem solving skills to help figure out each of the fairy tales. They will be building ladders to reach Rapunzel, helping the Gingerbread Man float across the river, and help Little Red Riding Hood bring grandmother her treats.

Transitional Kindergarten students love hands on materials that they get to manipulate to find out how it works.

These materials are perfect for them as they tie into the curriculum, are kid friendly, and hands on.
