Help me give my students the materials to complete a fun science experiment. Our 60 fourth graders each need an owl pellet to complete a hands-on learning experiment.

My Students
This year, I will be teaching fourth grade. Our district is very diverse and we have approximately 60% English language learners.
Our students come from a wide range of different socioeconomic backgrounds.
Over 60% of our students receive a free lunch. Our school also has a wide range of academic levels. Our school supports this wide range with programs like our Response to Intervention (RTI) Reading Program. Teachers regularly meet to look at student learning, assessments, and examine our practice.
I am inspired every day by the young people we serve. Many of our students face adversity in their lives yet come to school eager to learn each day. Our families come from diverse backgrounds and come together to support and celebrate these kids. This year, more than ever we are having to find ways to connect with families and support our learners.
Our district is in full distance learning right now. This project will help us continue enrichment at home.
My Project
Covid has changed the way that we have done a lot of things. Currently, in our two fourth-grade classes, we have about a third of our students Zooming into school. The rest are back on campus for a modified schedule. The kids at home will need sets of individual materials as well.
We don't want Covid to get in the way of our hands-on science exploration!
In order for our students to do this experiment that we used to do in groups of four, each student will need their own owl pellet.
For our information writing unit, we are integrating life sciences. Students will be writing reports on owls after a lot of research and activities.
More than half of students from low‑income households
