This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Science is kids favorite subject, unfortunately the science curriculum we have isn't set up to allow the kids to really dive in and learn. I would like the students to really get into science. With microscopes and STEM kits, the kids will feel like "real scientists" hands on experiments and building empowers them while letting them learn through play.

Most our science is vocabulary and reading, I want to kids to do science, try, fail, learn by having the materials and equipment I will be able to offer so much more of concrete learning and positive memories.
