This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is our second year running a 7th grade science fair. The heat mat, colored pencils, kettle, cups, paper towels, rulers, and markers will cover some basics needed to create presentation aids, and some supplies I know students will need. Seventh grade science is heavy on physical sciences, but many students are interested in life sciences. Because of this, I am asking for some basic seed starting equipment for the inevitable plant experiments.

I feel as though middle schoolers learn best by exploring their own curiosities.

That is why I love an open-ended science fair, to give kids freedom to explore their own desires.
