Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
8th Grade Science/Pre-Ap: Man are these students amazing! They’re quirky, better at tech than me and love hands on activities! With COVID 19 still on the rise and schools reopening, they need an environment that is fun and exciting. They need the support more than ever!
These students deserve a fun year before they delve into high school!
My Project
Hello! My project is geared towards low-income students who want to participate in our science fair but do not have the means to participate due to income. I want to add a mini center in my lab where students can come and print their science fair board information and place it on their project boards.
Every student who wants to compete, should not have to worry about printing their science fair work.
We only have one lab in our whole campus and its always booked, I only get one day, one 45 minute class period to print all my students who are competing in science fair! This one station would help tremendously. I can even create a science night so parents can come to help students! I'm so excited and we appreciate you all!
