Hello! Thank you so much for checking out our classroom's page! A little bit about myself, I have been teaching science for 5 years now, I always wanted to teach science ever since I was in college. You see, I was taking engineering classes at the time and found myself to be one of the only females who was in those classes. This astonished me, I wondered why the girl/boy ratio was so off balance. This drove me to rethink my career path and I chose to get my certification in math and Science instead, in hopes to inspire more students to try to join an engineering field in their future endeavors. I strive to be a positive influence for students and to be worthy role model to them. Teaching has been tough on everyone, these students need so much more than ever. After the pandemic hit, I saw so many students lose some of the light they once had inside. I want to make sure I can make a positive impact in their lives.
