My Project

Making Science fun and engaging is a year-long process. As we come to the end of the year I have to start getting ready for next year to ensure the students have the materials and equipment needed. All of the items requested will be directly used by students in hands-on science experiments. The Trifolds will be part of our Science Fair, while the glue, peroxide and cylinders will be used in experiments in our Chemistry unit. The whiteboards will be replacing old marked up scratched whiteboards we use in a quiz game. Finally the duct tape, well every good science classroom needs a little duct tape. It can fix anything.

Students deserve an opportunity to let their curiosity lead them to discovery.

Too many times, information is given to our kids and they are asked to regurgitate it back. This project is an opportunity to support the fight for curiosity and engagement in our schools.
