In a hands-on engineering classroom, collaboration is such an important part of the learning process, and having a dedicated space where students can gather has made that collaboration much easier.\r\n\r\nWhen the stools arrived, students were excited to see a new place where they could work together. We've been putting them to good use during our current engineering projects, where students measure materials, discuss their designs, and work together to build and problem-solve. They were so excited to receive them, and it turned into a really sweet moment for all of us. After spending the year together, it meant a lot to me to be able to recognize each student individually before saying goodbye.\r\n\r\nMy students are now in high school, starting a completely new chapter. I hope these bracelets are a small reminder of their time in my classroom and of someone who believed in them and was proud of everything they accomplished. Watching students take a flat piece of material, make precise cuts, and turn it into something they imagined themselves has been incredibly rewarding.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new tools, they were immediately excited! For many of them, using a power tool is a completely new experience, and they LOVE the opportunity to work with their hands and make something tangible.
