My Students

My students are middle school students who attend a K-8 agricultural-science school where they learn about their environment and how humans impact it daily. My class is made up of students from multicultural backgrounds.

They are hard-working, extremely bright, and humble.

My students are taught from kindergarten about the importance of taking care of our Earth. Our school has a beautiful garden with an outdoor learning center where my students receive hands on learning experiences. My students have a wide variety of extracurricular interests, such as volleyball, soccer, tennis, and learning second and third languages such as Chinese and Spanish. I have established a community of learners who help each other to succeed in my class and in life!

My Project

Science class is not about learning facts from a book, or rather hands-on experience in discovering the world around you. These tools will not only make dissections more interesting but safer. My students need to learn how to be responsible and safe around sharp tools and they need to learn how to protect myself from harmful bacteria. The safety goggles and gloves will help my students learn about their environment in a safe way. My kids will be dissecting owl pellets, chicken wings and much more. I can’t wait to see what my kids discover with these tools. Thank you so much for your support.
