My Students
My students come from a small community. They are so willing and eager to learn. I hope to create a meaningful learning experience everyday.
My students have a love for being creative. Some of the students face troubles at home. My hope is to create an atmosphere that they enjoy coming in to.
We are a K-8 school and this gives me the opportunity to see them when they first enter school. I love seeing them grow from kindergartners to middle school students.
My Project
These books will encourage my students to read. During our reading time my students will gain science knowledge. Building my science classroom library will be a great asset to many of my lessons.
High interest books are exciting and make the students learn facts without knowing that they are actually retaining knowledge.
If the cover of the book can draw them to it, then they will read it. These science books have interesting titles and covers that will entice the student. These books are one of the ways that I hope to encourage reading and gain science knowledge in my classroom.
