My Project

Our students have spent the year tackling the rigorous demands of science classes by diving deep into data, labs, and complex theories. Now that many exams are behind them, they are in a unique, reflective window of time. Many are about to graduate and head to university, standing on the threshold of choosing the majors and careers that will define their adult lives. They are curious, ambitious, and ready to see how the classroom science they’ve learned applies to the real-world mysteries of medicine, ethics, astrophysics, and the environment.

The goal of this project is to provide a curated collection of high-interest, narrative non-fiction science books for our students.

After the pressure of exams fade, we want to offer them choice reading where they can explore science through a more literary lens.

By reading works from contemporary scientists and science journalists, students can see the passion and the "why" behind the research. This isn't just about finishing the school year; it’s about providing that one pivotal book that might spark a lifelong career in genetics, engineering, or public health.
