Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is an integrated preschool classroom with twenty amazing students! They are so curious and eager to learn. Our class was a brand new preschool classroom that just opened this year, so we don't have many materials.

These materials will help to enhance and regain interest in many areas in our classroom, including our science, math, ELA, and sensory centers.

The Changing Seasons Sensory Tubes, Gardening Building Toys, and Plastic Insects will help our little learners learn about the changing weather, plants and other living things in our Science Area. The Montessori Number Blocks, Foam Pattern Blocks, and Dinosaur Balance will help our students gain important math concepts while exploring the math center. The Perler Beads and Plastic Pellets will be used in the sensory bins along with the construction vehicles. This will put a new twist on sand play.

When we change out materials in our learning centers, it helps to regain the student interest in those areas, and in turn, helps them learn the important concepts we are teaching.
