I get to spend my days with 20 amazing preschoolers! This is the first school experience for many of them and they are already showing their eagerness to learn! Although our schools is predominately low-income (100% of our students receive free lunch and breakfast) these little guys and girls are all HIGHLY motivated to learn! Our classroom consists of many different backgrounds, ethnicities, and learning abilities, however, our motto is "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!" We work together every day to help each other learn. In the past few weeks, we have really come together to work toward this goal. One way that we work together to help one another is in small groups. During this time we work in groups of 3 or 4 and engage in differentiated learning activities that require both peer to peer interaction and self-motivation.
