Help me give my students solar eclipse glasses so they can experience the scientific event!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Amos's classroom raised $454
This project is fully funded
My Project
On Monday, April 8th, our school area will have a total Solar Eclipse! A Solar Eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth. This eclipse will be at its "max viewing" at 3:15 and lasts from 2-4 P.M.
We can allow students to experience this Total Solar Eclipse if we can provide the safety equipment necessary to watch.
Unfortunately, you cannot view the solar eclipse without approved glasses, or the event can cause eye damage such as retinal burns.
Students will get to experience the Solar Eclipse for a safe, and unique science lesson. This event will not occur in our area for another 10 years.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
