Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These materials will help my students complete tasks and learn at school. I teach at a Title I school, and most of our families are considered low-income. These supplies will take the burden of purchasing new supplies off the families and make it so all students have the same supplies daily. I never want a student to worry if they don't have a pencil.

I work with a diverse population of students who have varying needs and benefit from interactive lessons.

The supplies I'm requesting include a cart, pencils, erasers, and Sharpie markers. These are items that are heavily used daily. All of these items will be used for interactive art lessons.
