This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have twenty-five first graders who are eager to learn. They love to come to school and the school year requires several supplies that will be used. Our school is a Title I elementary school in the California Bay Area. Supplies are in constant need of replenishing and donations from families are limited.

Children thrive with hands-on learning.

All of our students love to learn and I make it my goal to help them absolutely love coming to school each and every day.

My Project

Every school year comes with supplies needs for every classroom. Students need the necessary supplies to have an engaging school year.

Clipboards and dry erase markers would allow students to complete classwork away from their desks.

The clipboards would give students flexible seating choices to complete written work. Students could complete work on the rug or even outside while sitting under a tree. The dry erase markers are constantly in need of being replenished. Students use the dry erase markers to show their knowledge of math and writing skills. There are so many reasons why the clipboards and dry erase markers would be necessary supplies for our classroom.
