As a result the students are actually having conversations and making eye contact. It has made the building the classroom community so much better. I actually hear talking and laughing again! The videos can introduce a concept, reinforce the concept or be used as a transition from one activity to another. The students absorb the material so much more easily and in a more enjoyable way when they can watch it in a Flocabulary video.\r\n\r\nJust today, we were going over grammar. Quite honestly, it was not the most riveting lesson on the punctuation of titles, but the students started spontaneously singing the video related to the learning. Many of them remembered the rules and applied them correctly all due to the video. Anytime you can hook the students into the learning and engage them in something they can relate to it is a success. Learning is so much more effective and fun when hooked with a beat and told by an hip-hop artist.
