My Students

I have a creative group of students. These students have a desire to learn. They love activities and projects. These truly engage them. They strive to do well in school. Many of them have outside jobs and participate in extracurricular activities. Most of the students plan on going to college.

Some of the students will be first in their family to attend college.

Daily, they work on skills that will help them succeed in school and in life. They know they have the community behind them. When they are not working hard in school, they are working in their community. Many even work after school jobs to support their family and community. The school is behind them and is willing to do all that is needed to help them complete their dreams.

My Project

My students come into the school year overwhelmed with all they have to have. I like to have a stash of supplies that they can choose from in case they cannot afford everything. My students need mini and micro binders and sheet protectors for book journals and quotes. They need pens and pencils for writing in class. They need colored pencils, markers, and crayons for story projects. They need loose leaf paper and notepads for taking notes. They need sharpies for blackout and illustrated poetry. They need binder clips to hold all their papers together. These supplies enable the students to concentrate on school work and not what they can't afford.
