My students attend a high school on the outskirts of the town. The students are from varied backgrounds. Despite the challenges the students may face at home, they come to school with a positive attitude and want to achieve their educational goals. I have taught at other schools, and the students here are the most positive and respectful ones that I have ever encountered. It is a new school with beautiful amenities. Sadly, the funding ran out for some basic materials like classroom novel sets. My students beg me to read novels, and I have done my best to purchase these out of pocket to provide them with the opportunity to read the classics. I care about these students. These young people and the faculty at my school make this a wonderful loving and learning environment. They greatly deserve the novels.
