My Project

My students are EAST students, and their main goal is to find problems within our community and come up with solutions. They have recently been doing research on school supplies and how not having supplies affect student learning. They want to set up an area in our school that has supplies available to students who need them.

School supplies are an essential part of any classroom and student learning.

Thinking ahead as we are about to enter a new school year, I would like to support my students' everyday learning with new and fresh school supplies. Many students begin the school year with no school supplies and need markers and a sharpener.

These supplies will help ease the burden on students' families by helping to provide school supplies throughout the year. Many families cannot afford school supplies. It can be difficult for students who are not able to come to school with new supplies like their peers. I want all my students to start on an equal footing by providing basic school supplies that everyone needs in my classroom. I believe that providing my students with the necessary school supplies to be successful students is a great way to start their school experience.
