My Students
I know my future third graders will be fascinated, fun-filled, energized learners. Unfortunately, many of them are economically disadvantaged. These students live in an urban area and do not have access to the same resources as students from many surrounding districts.
Despite their circumstances, they will come to school each day with a sincere attitude about their education.
Learning new things will become an important part of their daily routine. Please lend a hand in getting the things they need to help them achieve academic success and become lifelong learners.
My Project
The summer will soon begin and many students in all areas of the country will be school shopping with their parents and guardians. This time for my students is often not so exciting. The families of my students cannot afford the items needed to have a successful school year. Things like pencils, erasers, paper, markers, glue, etc. are not affordable for them.
I would love to not have to send out the school supply list and be able to supply my students with everything they need for the school year--that would be amazing!
My students and their parents would be so relieved! Something like this may not be a big deal to you, folders, pencils, glue sticks, printer ink and dry erase markers, are needed. With your help, my students will have a great school year to look forward to!
