My Project

I love teaching 5th grade because it’s such an exciting and meaningful time in students’ lives. They are beginning to discover their own personalities, figure out who they want to be, and gain more independence as learners. Their curiosity, humor, and energy make every day different from the one before, which keeps our classroom environment engaging and full of life. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally as they prepare for middle school.

Because my students are at such an important stage, it’s essential that they have the tools they need to feel confident and successful.

This Donors Choose project will provide the classroom supplies necessary to support their learning—whether that’s materials for hands-on math and science activities, organizational tools to help them stay on track, or basic supplies that allow them to fully participate in lessons without barriers. When students have access to these resources, they can focus on learning, take risks, and fully engage in the classroom experience.

By supporting this project, you are helping create a space where my students can thrive, express themselves, and continue discovering who they are. With the right tools in their hands, they will be empowered to learn, grow, and flourish every single day.
