This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a bright, vibrant bunch of diverse learners in the heart of Dallas. Every day they bring energy and passion into my classroom. They are all excited to 'grow their brains' this year and really dig into second grade.

My class is a charter Title I school in the West End historical district of Dallas with a high percentage of ESL learners.

Families literally come from all over the city in order for their children to attend our school. With such a unique situation, my class is an amazing diverse learning opportunity for my students.

My Project

My second grade class is a hands on class and we get creative with our learning every day! As a result, we also need a lot of school supplies to get us through the day. Markers, glue, scissors, and crayons allow for my students to show me what they've learned by creating amazing projects. My school is an IB school, so these supplies help my students to 'choose' their own learning through their Inquiry Based projects.

Help my little learners to easily access the materials they need for their education.

We will use all of these supplies in every subject.
