This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is a diverse rural family-oriented community made up of approximately 480 students in grades CD-5. Our teachers strive to provide a personalized college and career-ready curriculum so that all students are prepared to reach their full potential as responsible and productive citizens.

Having the right supplies, including notebooks and crayons, in our classroom can enrich our student learning and make classroom management easier.

It will give them the resources to think outside the box, facilitate creativity alongside creative problem-solving skills, and give them self-confidence. It can also ensure that children are physically and emotionally safe, and it can make them feel more cared for during the time they spend in school.
