School Supplies for Success

My students need pencils, scissors, glue, and crayons. Many of my students come to school unprepared or with minimal supplies.

My Students

Our elementary school is a Title I school, with a high percentage of free and reduced lunch.

My group of 40 students is very diverse.

I have students with IEPs and students who are a part of the gifted and talented program. I have several students who require one-on-one instruction and small group instruction to meet their needs. I also have a few students who are very independent learners and can act as peer tutors. Not all students are able to learn in the same way. Each student has their own unique learning style that works best for them.

My Project

Many of my students come from low income homes and do not have the basic school supplies needed to complete daily educational activities. My students need pencils, scissors, glue, and crayons to complete assigned tasks. By having these materials, students will have what they need to complete assignments without having to ask a friend or the teacher for them.

By receiving these school supplies, my students will be able to complete any task assigned to them by myself or the other third grade teacher.

My students will become more successful learners who are excited to complete assignments with their very own supplies.
