My Project

Every school year, many students walk into the classroom without the supplies they need to fully participate and feel confident in their learning. While families do their best, school supplies can become expensive, especially when trying to keep up with replacements throughout the year. In our classroom, pencils disappear, crayons wear down, glue sticks dry out, folders tear, and notebooks fill quickly. Having a surplus of supplies available allows every student to continue learning without interruption.

This project will help create a classroom supply closet stocked with essential school materials that students can access whenever they need them.

These supplies will not only replenish everyday classroom materials throughout the school year, but they will also provide support for underprivileged students whose families may struggle to afford replacement supplies.

When students do not have access to basic materials, it can impact their confidence, participation, and ability to complete assignments successfully. By maintaining a classroom supply surplus, students can focus on learning instead of worrying about whether they have the tools they need. Something as simple as a fresh pencil, a new notebook, or a glue stick can make a meaningful difference in a child’s school experience.

The materials from this project will support daily instruction, independent work, small group learning, hands-on activities, writing assignments, STEM projects, and classroom organization. Having these resources readily available will ensure students are always prepared and able to fully engage in learning opportunities.
