This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the dynamic landscape of education, the effectiveness of teaching methodologies is continually under scrutiny. One aspect that has gained considerable attention is the role of incentives within the classroom environment. Recognizing the significance of engaging students in the learning process, we conducted a survey to gather insights into the preferences and perceptions of students regarding incentives in the classroom.

One of the primary findings from the survey is the undeniable impact of incentives in motivating students.

Whether through tangible rewards, recognition, or a sense of accomplishment, incentives serve as powerful catalysts for increased student participation and engagement. When students are motivated, they are more likely to actively participate in class discussions, complete assignments diligently, and strive for academic excellence. I ordered ducks to help students count. Play dough to help with sensory motivation and bags to put them in.

Incentives contribute significantly to creating a positive and conducive learning environment. When students feel that their efforts are acknowledged and rewarded, it cultivates a sense of enthusiasm and optimism within the classroom. This positive atmosphere not only enhances the overall learning experience but also promotes a collaborative and supportive relationship between students and educators.
