My students are participating in a particular program within our school. Our school serves about 900 diverse students. We also house many special programs. One of the special programs we offer is for gifted learners. This program has around 300 students in grades six through eight, and I teach about 130 of them. I have the unique opportunity to teach advanced math to sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students.
I firmly believe good math skills will open up doors for my students to do anything they want in the future.
My students enjoy learning and look forward to being exposed to new material. They are interested, hardworking, and always looking for new challenges.
My students also love to play fun and exciting games in their free time and give back to the community. All of my kids have enjoyed the extras I can give them because of donors like you. They are always amazed at how lucky they are to have such beautiful items that enhance their learning. They get excited about different kindness acts we have done throughout the school. We are also very aware of keeping their mental health in mind.
My Project
My students in the past would be able to go on field trips where they would get school sweatshirts to show their team spirit. With COVID, this is no longer happening and I miss seeing all of school spirit items on our kids. Our plan is for us to spread RAK with sweatshirts and hopefully hats.
Hats with our school logo on them should be a great way for our kids to show school spirit outside of school.
They are perfect for showing pride in our neighborhoods.
I loved seeing so much school spirit in the past and I would like to bring some of that back with these 50 hats. Since this is not enough for my students or our student body, we will be giving them away during our RAK month in December. These can be chosen by kids who get their name picked from our wheel of names. Everyone will have a chance to get chosen.
These hats can be worn by our kids who play sports or by our kids who want to cheer on our sports team. Having a good school spirit helps our kids feel more connected to our school and more willing to get involved in our school sports teams.
We would love to bring more spirit wear items as choices so that kids will go cheer on our teams in the future. Having sports items to wear to show school spirit are important in a middle school setting.
