My students need reaching tools for their recycling needs.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Have you ever been to a school that was poorly maintained and trash was everywhere? At our school my class takes the task of school recycling and clean-up very serious. We clean the yards, cafeteria, recycle all the cardboard, paper and plastic out of each of the classrooms individually. Help us!
My students are special needs students who are enrolled in my vocational arts class.
These students are very hardworking and perform general clean-up and recycling duties on a daily basis. My students take pride in how our school looks and how much we save in recyclables every year. We typically use the ez-reach tools to pick trash up from the campus and pick the recyclables out of the garbage bins. These tools are a great help for the kids and they all would like to have one instead of using their hands with gloves on.
We are requesting a group set of 11 of the reach tools for various jobs on the campus. These tools would allow each student to have their assigned tool and the speed of completing the jobs would be a faster process. Currently students take turns using the tools while the others use gloves and hold garbage bags. This would facilitate the process of recycling and keeping our school looking great! We are hoping to get some help from the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation.
This project is important to me because my class knows that the school looks good because of the work we do keeping it clean.
Without these tools our job is very difficult and time consuming. Students enjoy working in my class and I enjoy working with them, these tools would make all of our jobs easier and faster. Please help my kids keep our school beautiful. Thanks!
