School Nurse-Help Students Stay Healthy

Help me give my students mints, crackers, and fluids for upset tummies, underwear for female accidents, socks for boys. I am a certified school nurse who oversees 7th-12th. Thank you!

My Project

I am a certified registered school nurse who supports 1200 plus students. We see a lot of upset stomachs and the peppermints, crackers and fluid are extremely helpful for these students to get through their day along with rest. We see a lot of girls who need underwear for female accidents that come on suddenly. Also, we have a lot of male students who do not have socks and come to school in open toe shoes, or wear shoes without socks.

My goal as the school nurse is to provide the best possible care to the students.

I want to them academically succeed and for that to happen, I need to provide them with treatments to help get them through their day. It is my job to keep the students healthy so they can be successful in school. All of these items can make that happen.

We are in a low income area and a lot of our students do not have resources at home. This makes our school unique and it is important that we can provide to the students whatever they are in need of during the school day because they may not get the resources/treatment they need when they get home.
