My Project
There is a commercial circulating that shows a picture of a government funded classroom vs a teacher funded classroom. The huge visual difference is clearly apparent, but the impact is not captured in that commercial. I am the teacher who knows the impact all too well.
When a classroom atmosphere encourages learning, learning is inevitable.
My students are impacted by the atmosphere in my classroom, so it is my duty to bring light, colors, enthusiasm, and joy. My students deal with a multitude of challenges daily. Some are homeless, some are in-transitioning, some have nothing positive going on besides school. For these various reasons, I have vowed to make the classroom their home away from home. I will use the decorations to transform my unfunded classroom into a room that fosters learning, excitement and joy. I need your help in doing this. Please
