Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a high school counselor and I would like my space to be inviting and colorful for my students. I want them to feel welcomed by the environment of my office (large classroom).

My office is divided into two sections.

The first section is an office environment while the second is set up more on a communication environment with a table and chairs, beanbags, and wacky seating.

The floors are very old and stained. I would like to cover the stained floor with rugs to disguise the imperfections and bring more positivity to the room. I want my students to leave inspired by something they see or hear during their visit with me.
