Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Because we are not one-to-one with technology, students are being asked to submit packets from home. Because we are a large urban district, many of our students' families are also experiencing economic uncertainty and food insecurity.

While this is isn't ideal way to learn, our students are rising to the occasion and working hard to maintain their knowledge and grow from their homes.

My Project

A few of my student's are really struggling with home learning. They quickly lost the emotional and and physical support of school and they are struggling with a lack of access to school supplies to complete home learning assignments.

Basic School supplies, arts and crafts, books, and healthy snacks will go a huge way towards helping a few select families keep their students focused on learning and help lift the spirits of the students.

This project will ship directly to the home of a hard working student whose family is not able to provide these school basics.
