This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Guess what! Right now, I have the pleasure of teaching the only first grade class here at our school. Because of this, I want to ensure my students, have what they need for literacy and science during their first grade year.

That is why I am requesting Scholastic News and a set of Science Spin to meet my student needs and challenge them to read with a focus on science!

With these grade specific, researched-based readers, my students will get enriched content that is nonfiction, current and is full of relevant information!
