My Students

Our school is nestled in Atascocita. Our families often struggle to find employment and opportunity. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and the environment in which they learn varies by the child.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

My Project

The first-grade students will be using Scholastic News Magazine both at school and at home. On days students are at school, they will be able to read their very own magazine. On days they are learning remotely, they will be able to access the features that Scholastic News offers. There are more stories to read, games to play, and so much more.

Our first-grade students will be able to explore science and social studies concepts both at home and at school as they read their own Scholastic News magazines!
