This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being that my students are in a Title 1 School they do not have many opportunities at their fingertips. I've created a project for my students to learn about their history and connect it to the math standards they are learning.

The project is Scale Drawing of Monuments.

This project allows the students to experience monuments right in their classroom. It gives them the excitement of travel through the history gained. It allows them to broaden their math skills and build on their background knowledge. This project brings so much to the child's fingertips.

This project will engage the student inside the classroom as well as so much more for the child's future.
