My Project

Please help me provide my students with insta mini cameras that they can borrow to take picture of things that inspire them! A sunset while on the walk with their dog, their grandma baking cookies, the ideas are endless! The pictures can then instantly be used to create stories in school. My teacher partner and I plan to build a station for our little writers to go to allow their creativity to flow. Once the words are on paper, we want them to be able to publish their own books to take home to parents! We are asking for three camera kits, which include the camera, film, and a camera cover, and they will be added to our station full of colorful pens, paper, staplers, etc., so our students can be creative and inspired to write! In the end, we want to be able to send these photos and stories home in a collection of their writings for their families to read and share for years to come!

Writing is the archway to student’s creative brains!

Writing allows my students to express their ideas and thoughts while utilizing the language arts lessons we learn. The Say Cheese camera station will allow my students to find inspiration in the world around them. These photographs will help our students be enthusiastic and motivated to write!
