Saving Sight in Science

My students need safety glasses to protect their eyes during hands on activities.

My Students

My students come from mainly low income families. They are really hardworking and wonderful. We have a mini UN in our building. My students are immigrants, children of immigrants, and families whose families chose to come here a few or many generations ago. They are all caring and supportive of each other most days.

Each family is unique but what we all share is a love o learning and working together.

Our students are drawn from the third largest city in our state and as such are very low income. Contributing to this program will help many children.

My Project

We have started a new science program in our school. While the science program is very exciting and dynamic, we do not have safety glasses to protect our eyes. I am hoping that donors here will help to protect my students as we learn about the world around us.

My students will be using these glasses to stay safe when doing hands on projects.

We will be distributing these safety glasses to all of our science teachers. please help us with our program. By giving the students their own glasses we hope to encourage the love of learning and keep them safe from chemicals, and conjunctivitis.
