Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher who loves a fun and engaging class environment, I am always looking to inspire my students and give them glimpses into their own learning strategies and strengths.

My students are a vibrant and excited group of fantastic first graders who are excited to learn and stretch themselves in new and exciting ways.

Student participation is a key element to making sure that students are invested in their learning.

We are a California Distinguished School and our district is Common Core ready. We are in need, however, of updated school supplies/environment to support and educate the 21st-century student.

My Project

As we move into the 21st century, my students need to use more technology to improve their skills. Our school raised money for brand new iPads for each 1st grade class; however, we need to make sure they are accessible to all of my students and remain protected as to increase their longevity.

Now it is time to save the iPads!

Accidents happen but these shockproof cases will provide protection to the new iPads from accidental falls. The voice amplifier will help students when presenting and sharing projects with the class. My students will use the telephone headsets as a recording device for several apps that they will use on the iPads.
