My Project

During the spring, we do a unit on how we can help the environment. We use The Lorax by Dr. Seuss throughout the unit to explore the world around us. Our class will explore how the plants and animals depend on each other for survival. They will learn what plants and animals need. I want to read in school and send home the book "How to Help the Earth-by the Lorax". This is a Dr. Seuss Step into Reading book.

I want to give my students a book to keep to help extend the learning of this unit.

You never know what book will spark an interest or a need with a student.

My students want to read books about something they can relate to and having these books will hopefully provide those opportunities for my students. After having learned about the environment, I want them to learn more and bring it home to extend that learning from school.
