Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As we approach Earth Day, we must instill in our students a deeper understanding of environmental conservation and sustainability.

This selection of books, games, and hands-on activities about Earth Day and environmental awareness for classroom reading, fosters a sense of responsibility and stewardship for our planet among students.

These materials will:

Raise awareness about environmental issues and the importance of Earth Day as a global observance.

Educate students about sustainability, conservation, and ways to protect the environment.

Inspire students to take action and positively impact their local and global communities.

Encourage critical thinking and reflection on personal and collective responsibility for the planet.

By incorporating Earth Day-themed books, games, and lessons into our classroom reading, we can educate and inspire students to become responsible stewards of the environment. Through engaging stories and thought-provoking discussions, we can empower our students to positively impact the planet and cultivate a lifelong commitment to sustainability.
