Help me give my students multisensory literacy tools to build strong reading foundations! As a first-year kindergarten teacher trained in Orton-Gillingham, I need sand trays, letter tiles, whiteboards, and markers to make learning engaging and effective.

My Project

My kindergarten students are eager, curious, and excited to learn. They thrive when learning is hands-on and engaging, especially as they begin building the foundational literacy skills that will support them throughout their education.

As a first-year kindergarten teacher recently trained in Orton-Gillingham, I am committed to providing multisensory reading instruction that helps all learners succeed.

The sand and sand trays will enable students to practice letter formation through touch, thereby strengthening letter recognition and handwriting skills. The phonics set with letter tiles will give students opportunities to build, manipulate, and decode words in a meaningful way. Paddle whiteboards and dry-erase markers will encourage active participation, allowing every student to practice skills, show their thinking, and receive immediate feedback.

These resources will transform literacy lessons into exciting, interactive experiences and help my students become confident, successful readers.
