Our students are brilliant three, four, and five-year-olds. We are fortunate to work with students and families from all over the world. All of our students have different strengths and abilities, and that is what we try to teach each and every day. Our program is an inclusive preschool program. We have general education students from the community in addition to students with special needs. Each child is special and motivates me to be the best teacher I can be. I could not imagine doing anything else.
My Project
These materials will allow students to build their vocabulary and literacy skills through playing with, sorting, and identifying miniature tangible objects. They will have fun as they build their knowledge of the alphabet, and I'll be able to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
These Alphabet Teaching Tubs will offer students a hands-on approach to learning that will grab and hold their attention as they build the foundational skills needed to prepare for reading.
I can use these materials in a variety of ways to engage students while meeting them where they are at academically, and then take them to the next level. Your help and support are always appreciated.
