This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students have the opportunity to be school crossing guards. In order to do this, we need safety vests. Crossing guards wear safety vests primarily for visibility and identification purposes. These vests are typically bright in color, such as fluorescent yellow or orange, and often have reflective strips. These features make crossing guards easily noticeable to drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, especially in low-light conditions or inclement weather. All crossing guards must wear a safety vest during their crossing guard duties. Safety vests help to reduce the risk of accidents and ensure the safety of both crossing guards and the parents and students who are crossing the street.
